Synthesized: by Tech Couture is the first proof of concept for Tech Couture—bringing together fashion, technology, and community to create a new kind of fashion experience.
At its center are independent designers experimenting with how fashion is made and what it can be made from. onemiddlechild explores material innovation through sea moss-based textiles, while marishka uses digital design and 3D printing to challenge traditional methods of fashion production. Their practices are distinct, but share a willingness to experiment beyond the conventions of the industry.
Augmented reality introduces another layer. Used as a form of visual storytelling, AR immerses audiences in the designers' brand histories and creative processes, making visible the ideas, materials, and methods behind the finished work. Technology becomes more than an addition to the fashion—it becomes a medium for understanding it.
In doing so, Synthesized transforms the fashion show and activation from something observable into something experiential. Each element—design, technology, storytelling, and community—could exist independently. Tech Couture's role is in the synthesis: curating the people, ideas, and tools, then creating the conditions for them to become something new together.
The result enhances the artist's story, expands the audience experience, and creates new possibilities for how fashion and technology can converge in real time.

Marishka
marishka uses digital design and 3D printing to create sculptural handbags and accessories, exploring new possibilities for how fashion objects can be designed and produced. Her work positions technology not simply as a tool for production, but as part of the creative process itself.
Onemiddlechild
onemiddlechild explores the possibilities of biomaterials through the development of sea moss-based textiles. Her experimental practice reimagines what fashion can be made from, using a natural material to make sustainability tangible, investigate new relationships between material, process, and design.
